Having lived in Los Angeles and San Francisco for the past decade, I’ve witnessed trends come and go. Mustaches were replaced with man buns, yoga studios added goats to their classes, and online dating became more hellish than ever. The one thing you can still count on is finding avocado toast on every menu. As a time capsule of these crazy times we live in, this book is filled with vibrant, satirical cartoons that reflect how silly we all really are.
What started as a simple post on Facebook turned into a popular Instagram account (@avnergeller #ThingsThatIHear) after a successful Kickstarter campaign a first print of the book was self-published in October 2019.
